Price Promise
Receive a premium for an independently cash-backed spread held until fixed expiry.
A Price Promise pays you a premium, yours whatever happens, for selling an option spread backed by its own margin. Pick buy lower or sell higher, a price, margin, leverage and a fixed expiry. It runs to expiry: no cancel, no early close.
Overview
Your promised price is K1; an outer strike K2 caps the payout. Only the expiry price counts.
| Expiry price | What happens |
|---|---|
| Hasn't passed K1 (equal counts as not passed) | Your margin comes back |
| Strictly between K1 and K2 | A long or short perpetual opens at K1 with the same full margin |
| At or beyond K2 | Your full margin goes to the LP |
The most you can lose is your margin minus the premium.
Making a promise
Buy lower assigns a long, sell higher a short. Each promise locks its full margin from available cash. Selected liquid stocks, SOL and HYPE are eligible; a quote needs fresh prices, valid pricing inputs and spare capacity. Offers carry roughly a 10% to 60% model chance of finishing beyond K1.
Stock promises can span earnings. They expire thirty minutes before the scheduled regular close (normally 15:30 ET, earlier on early close days); offers stop thirty minutes before that, normally 15:00 ET.
The ticket shows exact expiry, premium, locked margin, exposure and maximum payout price, and confirming locks those terms. If a refreshed quote pays less after rounding, you review again; a higher premium goes straight through.
